"Good Faith Estimate"
Under the current law, health care providers are required to give patients who DO NOT have insurance or NOT filing insurance an estimate of the bill for any medical services they receive prior to treatment.
You have the right to receive this good faith estimate for expected costs of therapy services.
You have the right to request this good faith estimate 24 hours prior to services. You have the right to ask for this prior to scheduling any services as well.
If you receive a bill for more than the amount of the good faith estimate, you have a right to dispute the bill.
